Talascend is currently seeking a Launch Material Planner for an exciting contract opportunity in Casa Grande, AZ. This role will take the lead in coordinating the introduction of new parts and engineering changes between NPI program teams and Material Planning to support new vehicle launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coordination of new parts introduction and engineering changes across NPI, Vehicle Program Management, and Material Planning teams.
• Analyze BOMs/MBOMs and ensure accurate SAP data to drive correct material demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
• Track and implement engineering changes, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders.
• Plan launch phases with Vehicle Program Management and Supply Chain.
• Participate in evaluations of launch processes and provide material readiness reports.
• Work with Material Master (MM) team to set SAP parameters and effectivity dates.
• Drive updates on project timelines, flag issues, and escalate as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI achievement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing logistics, material planning, or supply chain.
• At least 2 years in a project management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred), BOMs, and supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, and Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
