Your Role:
The Enterprise Payment Systems Consultant acts as a SME and supports payment systems across CSAA. This role represents a matrix of business partners as new payment systems and capabilities are designed and deployed. It will support the enterprise-wide payment strategy, in compliance with internal and external standards while applying institutional knowledge to deliver long term strategic goals.
This role will act as a payment consultant to our business partners across the enterprise and clubs to deliver new capabilities, upgrades, or resolution to critical issues. The role must be solution oriented in partnering across the enterprise to deliver results on matters critical to enterprise objectives or projects. Ability to simplify complex issues and provide well thought-through explanations and solutions is essential.
Your Work:
- Lead technical payment discussions both internally and externally with IT and vendors to bringing a deep understanding of payment systems and technologies.
- Understand business rules / logic associated to the payment product.
- Facilitate iterative specification development with end-user by creating requirement documents, develop use cases for acceptance criteria, user process flows, and exception handling if necessary.
- Collaborate with technology team to define scope and aligns to prioritized roadmap.
- Facilitate discovery processes with Enterprise stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation, and efficiency within the payment landscape.
- Resolve interdependencies with various teams, ensuring seamless integration of payment solutions with other business functions.
- Support payment-related audits by maintaining comprehensive documentation, conducting internal audits, and addressing audit findings.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and development managers across various departments to develop requirements and solutions across multiple platforms.
- Project scoping, including analyzing, defining, and understanding business requests, gathering requirements, defining process flows, performing risk assessments, and collecting time estimates.
- Partner with Changes Management, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Claims, Service Operations and other impacted teams to identify implications/ impacts / communication.
- Support Development teams (stories, testing support, etc.) when necessary.
Required Experience, Education and Skills:- 5+ years of billing and/or payment experience.
- 2+ years of product management/product owner experience.
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broad knowledge of best practices in the design and application of payment systems and transactions.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and communicate effectively across the company and externally at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and manage relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Critical thinking ability and sound judgement with strong decision-making and creative problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen and ability to think strategically.
- Sound organizational skills with the ability to effectively facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines and respond quickly to management requests.

The national average salary range for this position is $136,800.00 - $152,000.00 annually. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $123,120.00 - $182,500.00 annual. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
