SOLV Energy: Job Description for Energy Storage Assistant Project Manager

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation, and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Summary:

The Energy Storage Assistant Project Manager will work with multiple departments to assist our project manager in planning, organizing, and directing project work, including engineering, scheduling, change management, budgeting, and documentation closeout.

This position is based on-site in Arizona and/or New Mexico, requiring travel.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration and coordination of daily on-site project operations to ensure safety and quality.
• Learn and lead in scheduling, cost control, procurement, and work activities across disciplines.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage project scope, budgets, and change orders.
• Support project updates, stakeholder meetings, and communication efforts.
• Develop scopes of work, hire third parties, and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Ensure networking services at the job site are operational.
• Monitor project progress and financials, enforce safety standards, and promote company values.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in utility-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Relevant industry experience, knowledge of electrical equipment and installation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in office practices and P6 scheduling preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively, including remote sites.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

• Frequent physical activity and lifting over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions and heights.

Compensation:

$97,767.00 - $122,209.00 annually, salary pay rate.
