Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the daily operations of the store under the guidance of the Store Manager. Your duties will include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting customers positively, answering questions, and resolving inquiries.
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Supporting ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participating in loss prevention efforts.
• Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Availability to work flexible full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
