As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's financial solutions for our healthcare customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team, collaborating with sales, project management, product, and fellow consultants to deliver outstanding results. The Principal Financial Implementation Consultant will provide Workday product, industry, and implementation expertise by serving as an architect and advisor while ensuring the financial and accounting solutions align with other functional areas.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

1. Contribute to and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.
2. Determine client requirements and design tailored Workday financial solutions.
3. Demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems and assist clients in testing.
4. Participate in updated training and other events to share product and industry skills with other consultants.
5. Partner with the Engagement Manager by providing status reports and keeping them informed of overall project status.
6. Participate in customer prospect discovery sessions.
7. Mentor less experienced consultants.

About You

• 4+ years of implementation or functional experience in Financial Management software solutions or systems such as Workday, Lawson, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
• 3+ years of consulting experience.
• 4+ years of financial consulting experience with at least 3 full-cycle healthcare industry implementations OR 6+ years of financial or accounting operational experience in healthcare organizations.
• Experience with General Ledger along with one or more of the following : Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, and Banking & Settlement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
• Passion for customer service and project management experience.
• Experience architecting Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) and FIN Accounting solutions.
• Ability to connect with all levels of customer/prospect leadership.
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
• Experience with multiple financial applications.
• Ability to balance multiple project engagements simultaneously.
