The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is currently creating an applicant pool for current and future vacancies in the Adult Detention Facility. Must be able to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends. This position is subject to a polygraph Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. The Sheriff's Office is looking for Detention Assistant's. As a Detention Assistant there is no required travel, no public speaking but will have some interaction with the public. Essential Job Functions An employee in this class series will receive a work assignment to Detention Assistant. Although an employee is assigned to this work specialty area, the employee may perform many, or all, of the office functions listed in General in the accomplishment of assignments.
