Aircraft Preppers & painters Pay (DOE): $25-$32.5 per hour Experienced and knowledgeable with all of the following processes is required: Mask for strip Chemical strip Mask for prep Prep composite surfaces for primer & topcoat Prep metal surfaces for primer Acid Etch & metal treatment on aircraft & parts Seam sealing aircraft & parts Priming aircraft & parts Painting topcoats on aircraft & parts Layout application (manually pulling lines and applying placarding and stencils) Painting accent colors & aerospace specialty coatings De masking aircraft Detailing aircraft Applying finishing sealant & non-slip materials
